Balenciaga at the V & A

Between my 4+ boxes of macarons a day, I try to squeeze a bit of culture into my vacations, and yesterday I got to visit the V & A to see the Balenciaga exhibit. It was very good; the bottom floor was about Balenciaga’s designs, and the top floor was filled with designs that had emulated some of his techniques. If you are in London this summer, I would highly recommend seeing it, even if just to see the mass of fashion editors who might be standing right next to you (I saw Glenda Bailey, editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar).
